Are you preparing to be a teacher/educator? If so, consider applying for the DVEC Hannah Amgott Memorial Scholarship! This scholarship was created to reward students exhibiting excellence in the pursuit of careers as K-12 educators. Learn more about the Hannah Amgott Memorial Scholarship here.
Applications are judged on merit, defined as:
- Strong academic record or evidence of progress in Education-related course work, as evidenced by transcripts and reference letters
- Genuine interest in and commitment to the field of teaching, as evidenced by resume, essay, and reference letters
- Excellent written communication skills, as evidenced by essay and resume
You are eligible if:
- You are enrolled in a teaching/education-related program at a DVEC school (Arcadia is a DVEC school!!)
- You will complete your degree in May/June 2023 , August 2023, or December 2023 OR You will have completed your coursework toward teaching certification in May 2023, August 2023, or December 2023
The scholarship amount with be $2,500 – directly disbursed to the university and credited to the Fall 2022 tuition bill. Application deadline is April 4, 2022 (awardees with be notified early May 2022).
