Franklin Towne Charter High School (FTCHS) is a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon School providing a rigorous academic program in a safe and equitable learning environment. Drawing from all sections of the city, Towne has earned a reputation for showing tremendous growth among its 1,300 students. FTCHS is located in the Bridesburg-Tacony section of Northeast Philadelphia. Unlike most Philadelphia schools that are located within a neighborhood, Franklin Towne Charter H.S. is uniquely cut off from potential hazards of neighborhood violence due to Interstate 95 to the west and the Delaware River to the east.
