The Department of Revenue is charged with the task of collecting and distributing all tax moneys due to the Commonwealth. Included in this task is the responsibility of projecting sound estimates of future revenues to accurately depict the current condition of the economy. The Department also maintains the Pennsylvania Lottery Fund, whose proceeds provide a wide range of services exclusively for Pennsylvania senior citizens.
