Intramural Student Staff members are responsible for maintaining the delicate balance of fun and competition to ensure that a safe environment is being offered to all participants. Staff members are in charge of pre and post-game logistics in addition to enforcing leagues rules and the policies set in place by the Director of Campus Recreation. Officials, scorekeepers, and coordinators should aim to constantly improve their skills and awareness.
Job Duties
- Officiate intramural events in an unbiased and professional manner
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of intramural events
- Understand risk management procedures
- Promote and market intramural and campus recreation programming
- Attend all pre-season training clinics
- Attend Campus Recreation promotional events
- Provide positive customer service
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Available to work evening Sunday-Thursday
- Attend all referee training clinics
- Attend Campus Recreation promotional events
Preferred Experience
- Previous playing or officiating experience is a plus
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
