As a member of the Athletic Communication Game Ops team, workers will assist the Director of Athletic Communications, Associate Director of Athletic Communications, and Assistant Director of Athletic Communications with miscellaneous game day tasks to ensure smooth operation of the game day responsibilities. This game operations position requires night and weekend availability, with responsibilities including social media, music, PA announcing (if able), and miscellaneous jobs as required. Live stream operation and social media requires additional training to learn nuances.
Job Responsibilities
-arrive to event 45 minutes prior to start of game
-Completing jobs as assigned by the Director of Athletic Communications
-Game operations positions
-social media operation
-operating spotify
-operating live stream
-ability to speak on microphone and read from paper (if PA desired)
-help set up equipment
-get starting lineups from head coaches (both home and away)
-other miscellaneous requests
Qualifications and Responsibilities
-availability for games is required – must be treated like a job and ensure that homework and studying are not impeding on availability – all classes must be entered into When2Work
-Computer proficiency

-for ice hockey and baseball (off-campus), access to a vehicle is helpful but not required
