STATUS: Student employment
LOCATION: Enrollment Marketing Office, Arcadia University
COMMITMENT: 10 hours max per week (can be as little as 1 hour)
Position Description
Social Media Assistants/Influencers work with the Social Media Manager and Director of Enrollment Marketing & Analytics to create content, brainstorm new ideas and share their Arcadia experience across social media.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the creation of University appropriate content for social media platforms including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter.
- Assist with developing new ideas, themes, campaigns, and strategy to increase engagement.
- Stay up to date with events and noteworthy happenings on campus.
- Capture images and videos when applicable to accompany posts for social media.
- Other duties may be assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn basic photo and video editing skills
- Must have good written and verbal skills
- Willingness to be both in front of and behind the camera
