Work Study Undergraduate Office Assistant –
The Work Study Undergraduate Office Assistant assists the Director and Assistant Director in the mission of the Office of Equity and Civil Rights, helping the Arcadia Community understand our lived values of respect. The Assistant will develop skills in office protocol, working collaboratively, professionalism and preparing for their own sucess. Assistant must be able to keep confidential and private information confidential and private!
Position Requirements:
- assisting those who come to the office and work in the office
- filing, data entry, copying, scanning, drafting and editing documents
- tabling and promoting the office
- posting materials on campus
- develop social media postings, including establishment of TikTok and Instagram pages for the office and maintaining a regular schedule for updating will be a key part of the job.

- Communication – Assist fellow Arcadia students, respond to inquiries through phone calls and emails.
- Technology – Updating Web Pages, using Social Media

- Leadership – Represent the Office of Career Education at university events and activities
- Professionalism – Provide customer service. Develop and hone time management skills
- Diversity & Inclusion – Assist students of all backgrounds and experiences
Required Skills:
- strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications,
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills,
- self-motivated, reliable, and able to work diligently.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of setting up, scheduling and making social media posts on Tik Tok and Instagram
- Use of Adobe Creative Suite to edit photos/videos
- Basic website development knowledge
This is a work-study position. Applicants must be eligible for work-study to apply. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 5 pm.
