Job Description: Scene Shop Assistant assists The Technical Director ,Props Master, Master Electrician Advanced Scene Shop Assistant and other Technical Staff in maintaining a smooth operation of the Tech Theater Production department, learning all aspects Technical Theater Production. Scene Shop Assistants will develop skills in Theater Production Operations , Project Management, leadership and most importantly prepare for their own career success.
Responsibilities: List all individual responsibilities.
- Help with the Maintenance and inventory of theater equipment
- Working with Scenic, Prop, Sound and Lighting designs and other technical drawings
- Following cutlists and other work products from the Tech Director and Advanced Scene Shop Assistants
- Construction of Scenic elements and props
- Hang and focus of Sound equipment
- Hang and focus of Lighting equipment

Required Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Arcadia Technical Theater standards and Common practices

Preferred Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Able to use Technical Theater equipment
- Skilled at using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Zoom
