The Department of Visual and Performing Arts is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as an Assistant Coordinator for Arts Events and Marketing. This role is ideal for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in event planning and marketing. The Assistant Coordinator will support the Arts Event and Marketing Coordinator in the planning, coordination, and execution of various arts-related events.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination and implementation of art events.
Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials for events, including flyers and newsletters.
Help manage event logistics, including scheduling, setup, and take-down of events.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Interest in the arts, event planning, and marketing.
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
Must be eligible for student work-study.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graphic design experience.
