Full Job Description
ARCS Aviation is seeking a part-time 3D Modeler with strong modeling, texturing, and rendering skills. This position works directly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Lead Developers to create precise and technical models.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality and cutting-edge 3D models and animations.
- Utilize 3D modeling, mapping, texturing, and lighting techniques to create precise visual elements.
- Attend team meetings and project discussions.
- Create 3D models from photos, technical descriptions, videos, and real-world objects.
- Troubleshoot problems relating to reintegration of outsourced assets into the 3D art.
- Ensure to meet customer and team standards.
- Understand level of technical specifications and requirements in order to develop high quality 3D models.
- High level of knowledge of modeling platforms such as Maya, 3DS Max, etc.
Requirements
- Excellent computer and design skills using software such as Maya, 3DS Max, or another similar program.
- Experience in 3D modeling.
- An eye for detail and excellent visualization skills.
- Ability to receive and implement feedback.
- Extensive knowledge of character dealing, rigging, skinning, etc.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
