The Marketing Intern will function within our Brand department to drive ACP’s mission of changing the lives of the children and families we serve. This is a dynamic, creative role perfect for a self-driven, thoughtful professional ready to grow their career.

Essential Functions

  • Create digital and print marketing materials such as ads, flyers, website content, newsletters, social media campaigns, promotional materials, interactive content, illustrations, etc.
  • Support initiatives in collaboration with Content Creator, Outreach team, Recruiting team, Market Development, executive leadership, and more.
  • Coordinate and maintain an ongoing and comprehensive image library.
  • Consistently update the ACP and ACP EI websites and related Google listings to improve our brand and ensure the accuracy of public-facing communications.
  • Improve SEO across all platforms including the ACP and ACP EI websites and Google.
  • Capture photo and video content to promote ACP’s initiatives including headshots, video tours, interviews, b-roll, and more.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Be a go-getter, creative thinker, detail-oriented, empathetic, self-motived, and driven.

Competencies

  • Experience creating content utilizing Canva and Adobe
  • Experience capturing video and photo content and editing these files as requested
  • Exceptional ability to craft persuasive messaging, copy edit, and proofread
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance speed and quality
  • Fundamental understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis and the population we serve
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience in WordPress preferred

Attend staff meetings as required.

Work Environment

This position operates in a typical office or hybrid environment.

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Preference will be given to candidates within a college-level Marketing or related program.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with ABA experience and/or knowledge.

Additional Requirements

  • Employees in this role are considered essential workers as part of the critical infrastructure.
  • No prior criminal history.
  • Ability to utilize technology.
  • Competent computer skills–Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Windows, Excel
