Occupational Therapist (OT) / Certified Hand Therapist (CHT): Lakeshore Bone & Joint – Schererville

Pay: Salary starts at $80k/yr. commensurate with experience.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday – 8:00am-5:00pm. Tuesday & Friday – 8:00am-2:00pm
Work setting: Outpatient Clinic

Lakeshore Bone & Joint – Schererville is seeking an experienced Hand Therapist with experience in orthosis fabrication and shoulder rehabilitation. Responsibilities:
- Developing individualized treatment plans for patients
- Close communication with referral sources
- Outlining clear goals for patients and the expected outcomes of the plan
- Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury
- Strong documentation skills recording patients’ progress and modifying the plan of care as needed
- Educating patients and family members about the recovery process
Qualifications:
- Post-Op/Post Injury splinting experience.
- Indiana license as an Occupational Therapist or ability to obtain license.
- Certified Hand Therapy credentialing preferred and/or willing to support a CHT track.
