Job description

Coral Law, PC is a worker’s compensation and immigration law firm who represents migrant workers and the Latinx migrant community in Massachusetts. We are committed to helping those who are marginalized in our communities and need legal assistance to help navigate through complex litigation matters. Coral Law is looking for an intern who shares these values with us. We are looking for an energetic intern who is eager to learn about the everyday tasks at a law firm. You will be working closely with Attorney Coral to conduct research, draft letters, take notes, and learn about the law. Because a majority of our clients are Spanish speakers, the intern MUST SPEAK Spanish.

To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current client issues/needs.

Intern Responsibilities:

  • Fulfilling tasks set out by attorney Coral
  • Drafting letters to clients (mainly in Spanish)
  • contacting hospitals/providers to obtain information for clients
  • Research via Westlaw/court documents and be able to draft explanation
  • Performing research at a supervisor’s request.
  • (If interested) Updating social media platforms and writing copy for posts.
  • (If interested) Creating images for social media posts

Intern Requirements:

  • Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Spanish speaker

Attorney Coral is a solo practitioner; this means you will get hands-on training and the ability to ask questions directly. The tasks will be explained to you and thoroughly explained as we want you succeed and learn from this experience.
