Founded in 2010, Core is a vertically integrated company, focused on acquiring, developing, managing, and lending across the student housing and build-to-rent (“BTR”) sectors. Its residential communities feature world-class amenities, progressive design, and hospitality-driven client service. In its award-winning student portfolio, Core currently owns and/or manages over 37,400 beds – and has a pipeline of over 35,000 beds in various stages of development. Position Overview

The Community Concierge is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the leasing office of the property. The Community Concierge will be responsible for prospect tours, prospect follow-up, internal and outreach marketing activities, resident retention efforts, and overnight on-call duties. The Community Concierge at times may be asked to handle other clerical or office type work as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours each week as determined by Community Manager
  • Must be available to work a full shift which is a minimum of 3 hours per shift
  • Must be available for additional hours including evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary
  • Must be available to assist with move-outs, turn, and move-ins that extend beyond normal part-time hours
  • Complete all prospect tours of community
  • Responsible for assigned prospect follow-up
  • Responsible for planning, implementing, and performing marketing duties and resident events
  • Maintain Lifestyle by Core brand standards across the community
  • Assist in securing partnership opportunities for the community
  • Curate content for social media and marketing materials
  • Post to social media as directed by Community Manager
  • Create marketing materials using Canva
  • Responsible for evening and/or overnight on-call and round duties
  • Present to student organizations and attend sponsored events on behalf of the community
  • Assist in outbound marketing and leasing activities as needed
  • Complete special projects as assigned by Community Manager
  • Ensure compliance with all Core Spaces Policies and Procedures
  • Responsible for ensuring product presentation always meet brand and company standards

Ideally, you’ll have

  • High School Diploma or Comparable Degree
  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills
  • Proficient in Office Products and Windows and Apple operating systems.

You’ll crush it if you have experience with

  • The ability to write and speak effectively using appropriate convention based on the situation; actively listens to others, asks questions to verify understanding, and uses tact and consideration when delivering feedback to others
  • Uses time efficiently by prioritizing and planning work activities
  • Demonstrates utmost level of integrity in all instances, and shows respect towards others and towards company principles
  • Shares key information with others involved in a project or effort, works in harmony to accomplish objectives, responds with enthusiasm to directives, and shows support for departmental and organizational decisions

Physical Demands

  • Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow or slippery surface.
  • Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects
  • Bending, stooping and reaching several times through a shift.
  • Must be able to see clearly with or without corrected vision.
  • Ability to drive to and from client locations, this may involve sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)

Work Environment

  • Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation
  • Occasionally will call for property walks or outdoor marketing events where walking and standing for longer periods of time is necessary
  • Occasionally outdoor environment for marketing events where walking and standing for long periods of time is necessary
  • Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers

Work Hours/Schedule

Additional workload and hours may be required during the turnover period
