General Engineering Fall Internship: September 2025-January 2026
Curtiss-Wright Engineered Pump Division, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is seeking engineering interns with a desire to both learn and contribute to an Engineering & Manufacturing business environment. The Engineered Pump Division (EPD) has a long-standing and distinguished reputation for developing and implementing advanced technical solutions for the U. S. Navy. Our products are positioned on naval platforms throughout the world.
Our customer is demanding, our expectations are high, and our products have critical-function application in the naval fleet of today and tomorrow. This opportunity will provide invaluable, hands-on engineering experience for the right candidates.
This candidate should be an engineering student (typically Mechanical Engineering), who expresses an interest in working to assist engineering related projects across multiple departments. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage various deliverables as well as thrive in a team-orientated environment.
Examples of job duties:
- Project Engineering – engineered solution, create a plan, stick to a budget, execute with internal constraints, perform and oversee installation, create and present training plan, and document the cost savings and benefit.
- Assist Program Managers in the generation of project plans, monitoring and tracking project schedules and budget, and project execution with internal and external constraints.
- Operational Excellence – Participate in improvement events regarding processes, procedures, etc.
- Perform production hydraulic testing of pumps.
- Evaluate & conduct instrumentation calibration.
- Auditing (internal and at suppliers).
Candidate requirements:
- Sole United States citizenship as required by our customer.
- Able to commute to our Bethlehem, PA location.
Wages are $19/hour based on a forty-hour workweek.
