POSITION OVERVIEW
OPPORTUNITY: Rotational Intern with Gerson Preston Klein Lips Eisenberg Gelber
LOCATION: Miami Office/Denver office: Galleria at Cherry Creek
TIMELINE: 7-week, full-time program, during the summer months
We seek highly motivated accounting students to join our dynamic and growing office. We are expanding our footprint and looking for candidates in South Florida, and now the Denver marketplace to work with our Directors. Our team helps clients improve their day-to-day accounting functions to control risk and facilitate better decision making. PROGRAM DETAILS
This 7-week immersive program offers valuable experience to gain insight into a variety of practice areas, exposure to senior level partners and hands-on learning with active client accounts. This role is focused on all major areas of accounting, including Tax Services and Assurance & Accounting services.
- Learn how to provide a variety of professional services including preparing, reviewing, and auditing financial statements, prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations in addition to gaining an understanding of client account management
- Provide ongoing support to various departments and company managers
- Continually broadening technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions
- Participate in ongoing accounting research
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Applicant must be completing bachelor’s degree in accounting; Plans to enroll in a master’s program is a plus
- 3.3 GPA or higher
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Great communicator with the ability to convey both analysis and findings to management and external clients (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in cross-functional, entrepreneurial atmosphere to achieve measurable results and improve existing processes
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a given time
