Gray Matters seeks ambitious entry level and experienced Sales Associates to join the brand flagship store in Manhattan, NY.

The Retail Sales Associates will delight customers with product knowledge and customer service skills while meeting sales goals and developing a loyal onsite and online audience for Gray Matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing impeccable customer service by engaging, understanding, and fulfilling customers’ needs in person and via email/chat/phone.

Actively maintain high standards of merchandise presentation, visually and verbally.

Efficiently and accurately process sales transactions on Shopify POS.

Responsibly handle credit card transactions.

Assist in coordinating the breakdown of the retail shop for events

Perform inventory counts as scheduled; and other related duties as assigned.

Create Social Media Content on Gray Matters Instagram and Tok Tok accounts to promote store visibility

Successful candidates will bring an appreciation of the shopping experience, an enthusiasm for customer service and professional work habits.

REQUIREMENTS

Strong public-facing customer service skills

Accurate payment handling skills

Outgoing and professional attitude

Previous POS and inventory experience.

Interest in shoes, craftsmanship, design & architecture

Open availability, especially on weekends

An appreciation of diverse audiences and work environments is essential.

BA preferred but not required

Additional languages are a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Pay rate starting at $17.00 per hour.
