We are currently looking for Audit Interns to join our Fort Lauderdale Audit Team. Accounting major is required. Start date is May 2025.

Daily Responsibilities
An audit intern at Hacker, Johnson & Smith PA works in a collaborative and fast paced environment with the rest of our team of senior auditors, managers and partners. Ideal candidates are expected to have the ability to problem solve independently and also effectively communicate in a team setting. The auditor intern is responsible for performing tests of controls over financial reporting and substantively and analytically testing the balance sheet and income statement. The auditor intern also is expected to assist in recalculation/verification procedures of the financial statements leading up to the report release date. This role has a high exposure to financial reporting, communicating with upper-level management of our clients and much more.
