Imagination Pixel LLC is a startup media and publishing company passionate about storytelling, with a focus on comics and related media. We’re seeking a talented Digital Illustrator or Comic Artist eager to grow their professional experience by collaborating with a creative and dynamic team.
Position Overview:
This entry-level position is ideal for an emerging artist passionate about digital creation, comics, and illustration. As a Digital Illustrator, you will contribute to the visual storytelling of Imagination Pixel by creating sketches and illustrations for social media and potentially expanding to prints, merchandise, cover art, and web comics (e.g., Webtoons) based on your skill level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality digital illustrations and sketches that align with our brand identity.
- Create artwork for social media campaigns, with potential expansion to other platforms.
- Collaborate with the team to bring characters, scenes, and concepts to life.
- Deliver final artwork in separate layers (sketch, ink, color) for projects in .tiff, .pdf, and .jpg formats.
- Meet deadlines and communicate progress effectively with the team.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in digital vector graphics and design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) or digital painting tools (e.g., Procreate).
- Passion for comics, storytelling, and visual design.
- Strong understanding of sketching and illustration fundamentals.
- Ability to adapt to a creative, startup environment and take feedback constructively.
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience with sequential art (comic panels).
- Familiarity with creating artwork for web comics (e.g., Webtoons).
- Enthusiasm for working with a startup media and publishing company.
