We’re looking for a talented Web Designer to help refine and enhance our Squarespace website while integrating a seamless and visually appealing e-commerce experience.
Position Overview
As a Web Designer for Imagination Pixel LLC, you will play a critical role in improving our current website’s functionality, design, and e-commerce integration. This role requires a creative individual with a strong eye for design, technical proficiency, and an understanding of how to create user-friendly digital shopping experiences that align with our brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
• Website Design & Development: Enhance and optimize the current Squarespace website to align with our brand’s visual identity and storytelling focus.
• E-Commerce Integration: Set up and manage e-commerce functionality for merchandise and products, including graphic novels, comic books, and activity books.
• User Experience (UX) Optimization: Ensure smooth navigation and intuitive user journeys, especially for online shopping.
• Content Updates: Create and update pages for new product launches, promotional campaigns, and events.
• SEO Implementation: Optimize website content and structure to improve search engine visibility and attract organic traffic.
• Performance Monitoring: Track website analytics, assess performance metrics, and suggest improvements for better functionality and conversions.
• Brand Cohesion: Ensure all design and functionality reflect the company’s brand identity and values.
Essential Skills
• Proficiency with Squarespace website design and development.
• Experience setting up and managing e-commerce platforms, preferably within Squarespace.
• Understanding of SEO principles and their practical application.
• Ability to design visually appealing layouts that align with a brand’s visual identity.
• Tech-savvy with familiarity in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
Preferred but Not Required
• Experience with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of copywriting for web content.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and payment gateway integrations.
• Previous experience working with creative startups or media companies.
