The Organization
The mission of the Indianapolis Opera is to educate, inspire, and entertain through the creation and presentation of musical storytelling for our diverse Hoosier community.
The Role of the Intern
The intern assists the General Director and senior staff with company functions of Arts Administration. The intern will have responsibilities related to the inner-workings of a prestigious nonprofit arts organization, including arts administration, education programming, donor & patron relations, and marketing & communications. Focus in one or more area(s) will be determined by applicant’s experience, skills, and interest, as well as company needs. This role will also shift depending on semester of internship (Fall, Spring, or Summer).

- Willingness to learn
- Knack for organization
- Excellent verbal & written communication
Desired majors: Arts Administration, Music Business, Music, Voice (or related)
Hours required: 15-20, 20-30, Other
