Join our dynamic team as a Design Intern and collaborate with cross-functional teams on impactful healthcare advertising projects. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, refine your skills and develop a strong foundation in design. As a valued member of our team, you’ll present innovative ideas to senior leadership, attend enriching workshops, and expand your industry knowledge through weekly Lunch and Learn sessions. This internship offers a comprehensive learning experience to launch your career in design.
A day in the life:
- Develop innovative design solutions to address branding challenges, leveraging creative problem-solving skills.
- Present and communicate design concepts effectively to design directors and cross-functional teams.
- Design and deliver high-quality solutions within specified budgets and timelines.
- Confidently articulate and defend design decisions, while remaining open to feedback and alternative perspectives.
- Collaborate and iterate on design concepts to refine and improve outcomes.
- Cultivate creative expertise through hands-on experience and constructive feedback.
What you will need:
Education: Rising junior, senior, or recent graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree in Communications, Design/Graphic Design, or a related field.
Key Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and beginner experience with Adobe Creative Suite (including familiarity with typography, layouts, illustration, motion graphics, logos, and icons).
- Portfolio of work (school/spec work acceptable) demonstrating creative ability (application requirement).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, with adaptability, flexibility, and attention to detail.
Salary:
$19/hr + overtime eligibility
Availability requirements:
To ensure a comprehensive and immersive experience, we require our interns to be available to work a full-time schedule during the internship period. Please note the following:
Duration: June 9 – August 8, 2025 (9 weeks)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (full-time, 40 hours/week)

Work arrangement options:
We’re excited to offer internship experiences that cater to your individual needs and preferences! Choose from two format options when you apply:
Option 1: Fully Remote
- Available to those living within and outside a commutable distance (100 miles from the office)
- No in-person days!
- Must work from your approved remote location (normally your home) 100% of the time
Option 2: Hybrid
- Only available to those able to live within a commutable distance for the whole program (100 miles from the office)
- Split your time between remote work and in-person collaboration at our NYC Midtown office (2-3 times a week)
