About the job:
As an Experience Design Intern, you’ll collaborate with diverse teams on impactful projects, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare advertising and developing a strong foundation in experience design. With guidance from a dedicated mentor, you’ll refine your skills and contribute to initiatives that drive meaningful change. Through pitch projects, workshops, and business exposure, you’ll expand your knowledge and present ideas to senior leaders, setting yourself up for success in your career. A day in the life:
- Designs layouts using agency tools, supporting senior design staff as needed, adhering to brand guidelines, campaigns, and development requirements.
- Demonstrates understanding of layout principles, brand guidelines, and campaign requirements.
- Aligns design work with UX architecture through collaboration with UX staff.
- Partners with cross-functional teams (UX, development, art direction, copywriting, project management) to ensure cohesive outcomes.
- Maintains open communication with team members and supervisors regarding deadlines, revisions, and design quality.
- Develops understanding of user journeys, business goals, healthcare regulations, and marketing nuances (patient/HCP, branded/unbranded, fair balance).
What you will need:
Education: Rising junior, senior, or recent graduate from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Key Qualifications:
- A portfolio of XD work (school/spec work acceptable).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with experience design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, XD, Adobe Suite, Invision, Axure).
- Ability to multi-task, manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail orientation and accountability.
- Strong active listening skills, ability to work collaboratively cross-functionally, and receive feedback.
Salary:
$19/hr + overtime eligibility
Availability requirements:
To ensure a comprehensive and immersive experience, we require our interns to be available to work a full-time schedule during the internship period. Please note the following:
Duration: June 9 – August 8, 2025 (9 weeks)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (full-time, 40 hours/week)

Work arrangement options:
We’re excited to offer internship experiences that cater to your individual needs and preferences! Choose from two format options when you apply:
Option 1: Fully Remote
- Available to those living within and outside a commutable distance (100 miles from the office)
- No in-person days!
- Must work from your approved remote location (normally your home) 100% of the time
Option 2: Hybrid
- Only available to those able to live within a commutable distance for the whole program (100 miles from the office)
- Split your time between remote work and in-person collaboration at our NYC Midtown office (2-3 times a week)
