Role: Product & Marketing Coordinator
Reports to: Eliza Ferrel, founder and CEO
Joy Street is a female owned and operated company offering hand-drawn baby layette, kids and women’s pajamas. All of our products are manufactured on 100% Pima Cotton in Peru using a small batch female run manufacturer.
Joy Street is looking for an individual that is willing to wear many hats in our small and mighty team. This individual will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working for a fast-past fashion start up. Working alongside the founder, you will get to see how a start-up operates, have the ability to impact processes and consumer facing experiences, and contribute to the growth of the business.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Product Coordinator
- Manage product creation in shopify and our warehouse catalog.
- Create both Joy Street and 3rd party products in shopify
- Add products to our warehouse catalog
- Support product set up on our wholesale platforms NuOrder & Faire
- E-comm Merchandising
- Ensure all products are ready to go live and turn them on as inventory is available
- Help to merchandise and position product on our website based on consumer experience and business needs
- Assist the Merchandising and buying process
- Help to provide design and business feedback on the product assortments and select and buy our 3rd party branded products
- Support wholesale sales needs as needed
- Support instore/retail/pop up needs as they arise. All team members will help in this way here and there with agreed upon schedule

- Help maintain current influencer list and research, identify and outreach for new opportunities
- Provide weekly suggestion list for influencer gifts and send influencer gifts & notes via Shopify
- Keep a pulse on latest social media trends as well as competitor research for site and email content

What you need to succeed
- Working towards or currently have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Business or related field
- Ability to work in and learn excel as well as willingness to learn Canva and or adobe illustrator/photoshop
- Strong written and oral communication skills – ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and effectively
- Proven experience integrating creative storytelling and visual delivery and proficiency in creative effective graphic layouts
- Proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective while under the pressure of tight deadlines
- Fun, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and jump into any project that is given
- Knowledge or willingness to learn kids and baby /fashion apparel space
