General Summary

We are currently seeking a summer Intern for the Design and Development Department. The schedule will be approximately 35 – 40 hours per week, beginning in June of 2025 and ending in August (dates can be customized further to suit). The intern will be working closely with Team in various activities related to the development activities in Jersey City, NJ and Manhattan and Queens, NY

LeFrak affiliates today own and manage an extensive portfolio of real property concentrated in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area, as well as South Florida, Los Angeles and throughout the West Coast. Although we focus on the residential and office sectors, LeFrak affiliates also invest in numerous hospitality and retail assets.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Perform Site visits
  • Review of Drawings and Specifications
  • Create in-house Renderings
  • Assist with Signage coordination
  • Assist with Presentations
  • FF&E Selections / Approvals
  • General assistance with Renovations and New Construction
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently pursuing or have achieved a bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering or other related fields.
  • Experience working with Photoshop, SketchUp Auto CAD, Revit or other imaging/modeling software
  • Experience working in a corporate office environment is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
