Art Documentation & Photo Editing Intern
Compensation: $200 + 0.25 course credit (if applicable through your institution)
Time Commitment: Short-term project, flexible hours
About the Role:
I am looking for an intern to document and edit five or fewer large paintings (approximately 30×40”). This role is ideal for someone with experience in fine art photography and post-production editing. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of the paintings and ensuring accurate color representation through professional editing.
Responsibilities:
- Photograph large paintings in a controlled environment to ensure proper lighting and minimal distortion
- Use professional equipment (DSLR camera, tripod, softboxes, etc.) to capture high-resolution images
- Edit images using a professional photo editing program (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to maintain true color accuracy and clarity
- Deliver final high-resolution images via a shared Google Drive folder
Qualifications:
- Experience with art documentation or product photography
- Access to a photography setup, including a DSLR camera, tripod, softboxes, white walls for display, and editing software
- Strong skills in photo editing and color correction
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
