We’re seeking individuals with an interest in joining a small hardwood lumber wholesale
business and retail custom furniture business located in Northeast Ohio. Applicants
must be dedicated to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
– Move material throughout the facility by hand, pallet jack and/or forklift based on
demand for incoming and outgoing orders
– Preparing furniture and other wood products for loading and unloading and
delivery
– Home delivery of furniture
– Ability to safely operate a box truck used in pick up of furniture and delivery of
furniture
– Possibly work at the retail showroom in Richfield, Ohio working with clients on a
retail level
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License: Must be able to drive a box truck safely and efficiently.
Furniture Delivery & Setup: Experience with or willingness to learn white glove delivery, including carrying furniture into customers’ homes and placing it as requested.
Physical Stamina: Must be able to repetitively bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift cartons weighing approximately 50-100+ lbs.
Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills to provide a professional and courteous delivery experience.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring furniture is delivered in perfect condition and set up according to customer expectations.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle delivery challenges, such as tight spaces or difficult setups.
Teamwork & Communication: Must work well with other team members and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Basic reading and comprehension: The skills and the ability
to work efficiently and professionally.
