Parralux Video Production Internship – Content Creation & Production Assistance

[Paid Opportunities – Year Round]

April/May through August 2026

Overview:

Parralux is a full-service video production company looking for a motivated, well-rounded intern who is ready to contribute from day one. You’ll gain hands-on experience across every stage of the production process – from working on set with cameras and lighting to helping shape the story in the edit – but we’re especially interested in candidates who are drawn to marketing and advertising. We’re not just creating videos; we’re helping clients achieve specific objectives. That means thinking strategically, understanding brand goals, and crafting stories that support real business outcomes. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to collaborate in a fast-paced creative environment, this is an opportunity to sharpen your skills while playing a meaningful role in impactful video campaigns across corporate, social, and broadcast platforms.

Qualifications:

This internship is open to college sophomores through seniors with varying levels of experience. While the internship is held on-site at Parralux (Exton, PA), you’ll have the opportunity to work on shoots outside of the office (on-location). Days/Hours are negotiated based on your availability and required credits. Ideal candidates are creative, proactive, enthusiastic self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Ideal Candidates Know How To:

  • Think like a storyteller first — shaping content around a client’s objectives, audience, and brand voice
  • Translate marketing goals into clear, compelling video narratives
  • Edit with purpose in Adobe Premiere Pro, understanding pacing, structure, music selection, and emotional beats
  • Organize projects efficiently — managing footage, audio, graphics, and deliverables within Premiere Pro
  • Identify strong soundbites and build cohesive stories from raw interview and b-roll footage
  • Repurpose long-form content into strategic short-form social assets without losing the core message
  • Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, hooks, and social-first storytelling approaches
  • Set up and operate cameras with strong attention to framing, focus, exposure, and composition
  • Assist with lighting setups that elevate production value and support the tone of the story
  • Handle and maintain camera and lighting equipment responsibly — from lenses and media cards to stands and modifiers

What You’ll Do & Learn:

  • Learn about day-to-day operations at a video production company
  • Create different kinds of content for various types of clients/industries
  • Produce original video/photo content for our social media channels
  • Participate in pre-production meetings to understand shot lists, storyboards, and creative concepts
  • Coordinate with the production team to prep a shoot’s equipment needs
  • Collaborate on set with DPs/directors to assist with lighting setups and capture high quality content
  • Sharpen your video editing skills in Premiere Pro

To Apply:

Please email lauren@parralux.com with a brief cover letter, your resume, and a portfolio, reel or other short work samples! Please put “Video Production Intern” in the subject line.
