Job Title: Human Resources Intern

Department/Team: G&A/Human Resources

Location: Empire 2 – Winston Salem, NC

Job and FLSA Type: Full-time, Hourly

Name and Title of Supervisor: Brian Allen, Sr Director, HR Business Partner

Position Summary:

The Human Resource Intern role will provide hands-on exposure to the inner workings of a fast-paced, science-driven cell therapy company. This role will work closely with the HR team to support talent acquisition, onboarding, talent development, external branding, employee relations and other HR initiatives. This is a great opportunity to build a foundation in HR while contributing to meaningful work that supports scientists, researchers, and corporate teams driving innovation in healthcare. This role will be expected to be on-site full-time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support on HR projects, documentation, and compliance-related initiatives at West Point site.

Assist with the onboarding process for new hires.

Help organize employee engagement activities, professional development sessions, and wellness programs.

Support talent acquisition efforts by helping to coordinate interviews onsite.

Research and build SOPs and process maps for HR functional activities.

Provide support in employer branding projects (i.e., social media).

Participate in projects related to performance and talent management, engagement, and policy updates

Qualifications:

Education/Training:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field

Experience:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge:

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Skills:

Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information with discretion
