Sammartino, Stout & Lo Presti, Inc., Real Estate Appraisers, is a regional real estate appraisal firm that specializes in the valuation of commercial, retail and industrial properties, consultation, and analysis for numerous clients. The appraisal profession requires a balance of analytical and people-interactive skills and a typical work week includes both in-office and out-of-office (field) time. For non-certified applicants, state certification is a 3-year track and requires significant in-job training and some external coursework. Compensation increases substantially upon certification.

Employment Opportunity

A full time position is available. Appraisal experience is not necessary, but real estate related education or work experience is preferred. Appraiser Trainees and Certified Appraisers are welcome to apply. Applicants must be detail oriented, organized, adaptable, and have good writing, analytical, problem solving, and research skills.

Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, and use of information oriented databases and programs) are necessary. A bachelor’s degree is required (preferable in real estate, business or finance). Employee must be willing to relocate or reliably commute to northwest PA (Erie, PA).

First year salary: $45,000 – fixed

Second year income range: $50,000 – $60,000 (performance dependent)

Third year income range: $50,000 – $70,000 (performance dependent)

Fourth year (with state certification): $70,000+ (performance dependent)
