Lab Support – Part Time Internship
Sepax requires a motivated student who can assist in the laboratory with day-to-day support in the Tech Support department. This individual will be scheduled around their school courses during the business hours of Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. This position is based at our headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware near the University of Delaware. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking for industrial experience.
Requirements:
- Student enrolled in a Science or Engineering degree program.
- Must have a scientific background understanding.
- Must be independent with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Positive attitude with ability to work well in a group environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of samples, solutions and/or resins.
- Support other tasks assigned by the team based on individual’s technical skills.
- Assist with proper and thorough documentation as needed.
- Performance of general housekeeping maintenance in the laboratories, office/desk space and cleanliness in work areas.
- Observe safety precautions as outlined in safety manuals and training.
