TAG Collective is seeking energetic, passionate and innovative interns to join our New York City based team remotely. This is a tremendous opportunity for a motivated advertising, business, digital marketing and public relations professional looking to grow with a close-knit team.
TAG Collective is a new kind of creative media agency that offers effectively curated and integrated branding, communications, digital services, and more. Interns will be taught to be able to handle responsibilities including:
- What is “New Media” and how to prepare for the next evolution in our industry
- How to manage integrated PR and Digital Campaigns
- How to engage in business development including the creation of proposals, presentations, calls and more
- Recommend innovative approaches that share our clients’ stories with the world and help them grow within their respective industries
- Build and update media lists using different mining programs
- Use digital marketing and communication management platforms
- Nurture and expand an established list of media contacts
- Draft press releases and client materials, as needed
- Pitch and secure media placements, as well as monitor media coverage
- Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ business environments to help cultivate strategies
- Keep up with trends pertaining to clients’ industries, in addition to public relations, social media and marketing
- Prepare and assist with client events, as applicable
- Opportunity to attend occasional networking events and/or college job fairs to increase visibility of our brands
Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing (or have attained) a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Business Management or related fields
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize activities and take initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proven self-starter with desire to further knowledge across our industries on both the client-relation and business sides
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite and current/emerging social media platforms are preferred
- Comfortable working in a flexible environment, while still exemplifying a “work hard, play hard” mentality
- Must have a great attitude with a positive perspective! Creativity only flows when you remove your restrictions on free thinking!
- Seeking a candidate looking for international experience with clients across the world, and the ability to bring contrasting viewpoints to our client’s campaigns and drive innovation
- Must have at least one year of communications and/or Public Relations experience
