The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), a leader in Christian media, is looking for a professional Make-up Artist in Virginia Beach, VA to join our team. This is an opportunity for an experienced Artist to use their skills to design and apply makeup for on-air talent.
This position is an on-call position with early morning, flexible hours.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a make-up artist
- Strong working knowledge of makeup design and application
- Ability to effectively work with on-camera talent
- Strong ability to work well under the pressures of live TV with daily and hourly deadlines
- Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of management, staff, and outside public
- Ability to think creatively
- Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to work flexible hours, including very early mornings
