Member Services Representative Part-Time

Summary of Position: Support daily operations of YWCA St. Paul’s Member Services Desk by welcoming visitors, providing customer service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and assisting with member inquiries. This position will report to the Director of Health and Fitness Center Operations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Fitness Center Member Services – 95% · Greet and assist members, guests, and program participants in a friendly and professional manner · Answer phone calls, respond to questions, and provide accurate information on programs, memberships, and services · Manage member check-ins, account access, sales transactions, and maintain accurate records and reports · Promote and process sales of memberships, services, and proshop items · Support administrative tasks such as filing, printing, creating signage · Monitor and assist with facility cleanliness, restock supplies, and report safety or maintenance concerns · Assist with locker/towel service tracking and inventory · Address member concerns promptly and help promote participation in programs and services · Open or close the facility as assigned · Perform other duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
· At least 6 months of experience in customer service/sales.
· Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to members and guests.
· Comfort and self-confidence in engaging prospective members.
· Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
· Ability to work with and communicate with people of diverse backgrounds.
· Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn and work on databases.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
· Reliability in attendance and responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Friendly, reliable, and customer-service oriented
· Comfortable with basic computer systems
· Interest in health, wellness, or community programs
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Gym/Health Club experience

Working Conditions:
Must be able to walk, sit, stand, kneel, reach, and lift to 25 lbs. continuously during working hours.
Work/Office hours may vary due to specific needs.
The pay for this position is $16.00.
