Biomedical Summer Research in London
Next summer, conduct your own research project at one of the world’s leading institutions with this unique program at The School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences (BMEIS) at King’s College London. The program is designed to develop your academic knowledge and skills as a foundation for postgraduate study, while giving you the independence to conduct your research under the supervision of an experienced advisor.
Exciting project choices range from: Estimating cardiac output from the arterial blood pressure signal; to Detecting atrial fibrillation from wearable sensor signals, and Using smart wearables to identify patients at risk of falls.
BMEIS’s research focuses on applying fundamental engineering techniques to address clinical problems. The School is based at St. Thomas’ Hospital in central London and works collaboratively with clinicians to ensure that its work is directed towards unmet patient needs. Your project will fit within these goals.
