Position Summary:
The Office of Student Engagement supports a comprehensive program of co-curricular activities that support institutional retention efforts and assist student transition to college life. The cultural, social, recreational and educational programs supported are designed to complement the Arcadia University Mission and Core Values and create a positive learning experience that opens new horizons, ideas, and social outlets. Through programming, involvement, leadership and service, 6 Lead workers will have the opportunity to serve as champions and advocates for new and current Arcadia Students, develop professional competencies, and positively impact the campus community.
Duties and Responsibilities
Marginal Functions
- Provide customer service at Commons desk in person, via telephone, email and social media
- Have bi-weekly meetings with Graduate assistants and Lead Wokers about goals for student engagement/commons
- Assist with reorganizing Commons and Game Room use of storage and offices
- Assist w/ removal of old flyers
- Monitor printer stations
- Monitor furniture to ensure its in its proper place and clean
- Report broken furniture to Administrative Assistant
- Participate in staff meetings
- Other Duties as assigned
