BASIC FUNCTION:
ESD’s Controller’s team performs, examines, analyzes, maintains, and verifies financial records of the Corporation. The summer intern in this group would help to develop process mapping of the various functions performed by ESD’s Controller team to create a written record of the process sequence of steps, decision points, inputs, and outputs.
WORK PERFORMED:
- Conduct a listening tour with the Controller’s team to understand their work.
- Create a visual representation of each of the department’s processes, from start to finish.
- Communicate the steps, dependencies, and interactions involved in each process.
- Help identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks and improve productivity.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education level required): Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree
Knowledge Required: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word (PowerPoint a plus); Excellent written and oral communication skills.
