Schedule: Part-Time, Night Shift (11:00 pm – 7:00 am, 6 Shifts Per Pay)
Salary: LPN/RN Nurses earn between $32.00-$40.00/hour + Shift Differential + Upgraded Weekend Differential

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regular attendance is an essential function.
- Start your shift by receiving shift reports with pocket care plans/worksheets.
- Obtain medication cart assignments from the Charge Nurse.
- Assume leadership by coordinating resident care with appropriate personnel.
- Administer scheduled medications in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform narcotic counts with the off-going nurse.
- Communicate resident or staff issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Attend required meetings and in-services.
- Document essential information on residents, including but not limited to alert charting, incidents/accidents, and vital signs.
- Assist with accuchecks for both floors.
- Provide support for tube feedings, treatments, and wound assessments on both personal care floors as able.
- Participate in admission assessments, transfers, deaths, physician orders, and prepare for physician rounds as requested.
- Assist with filing for medical charts, MARs, etc., as able.
- Complete MAR checks, room checks, and medication room checks as able.
- As time permits, review medication and treatment carts for expired or unused medications.
- Assist with cleaning and defrosting medication room refrigerators when able.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies within Personal Care.
- Fulfill any other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Completion of Licensed Practical Nurse program.
Completion of Registered Nurse program, preferred.
Experience
One year experience in a nursing environment
Three years experience in geriatric nursing.
Professional Membership, Licensures, Certifications
Licensed Practical Nurse with a medication course.
Registered Nurse, preferred.
