We are looking for an organized and creative Marketing & Client Services Associate to join our TravelAge West and Travel Weekly teams. You’ll provide administrative and sales support to our Business Development Directors and Managers, assisting them in handling and fulfilling business tasks, including entering sales orders. As a client liaison, you’ll ensure the execution of client assets and engage internal stakeholders for client success. Additionally, you’ll assist our marketing leaders with various projects.
You will split your time between our Los Angeles, California office and working remote. Flexibility is provided.
What You’ll Do:
- Assume primary client services responsibility to execute sales for our sales team
- Assist with marketing duties related to annual awards program and other marketing programs and projects
- Execute and input sales orders to support sales activities
- Follow up on requests initiated through email correspondence and/or phone calls
- Communicate as needed with advertisers and advertising agencies
- Serve as a liaison with clients, meeting their needs and fulfilling business including providing engagement metrics when needed
- Work with internal departments as needed, including order entry, marketing, custom content, production and editorial in order to assure all scheduling of video, interviews, webinars, etc. are executed successfully
- Prepare and/or draft proposals, mailings, email blasts, correspondence and sales reports
- Administer or coordinate special projects as necessary
- Provide CRM support
- Perform other related activities as required
What You Have:
- Prior experience in inside sales, marketing, sales support, and administrative functions
- An aptitude and interest in a career in media and publishing
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills, including the telephone
- Excellent organization and coordination skills
- Ability to develop creative marketing messages and solutions while assisting our marketing team with ongoing programs
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with customer relationship management, accounting, and billing systems
- A high degree of professionalism
