POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our growing litigation team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The ideal candidate is a proactive legal professional who thrives under pressure, exercises sound judgment, and is genuinely invested in positive outcomes for injured clients. You will work directly alongside our attorneys to manage active caseloads from initial intake through settlement or trial.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft and prepare demand packages, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with precision and within established deadlines
- Manage and maintain case files across all stages, from intake through resolution, ensuring documentation is accurate and current
- Conduct thorough legal research and summarize findings for attorney review
- Review and analyze medical records, accident reports, bills, and other case-critical documents
- Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel on case-related matters
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding case status updates, maintaining a professional and empathetic communication standard
- Organize and prepare trial exhibits, deposition binders, and materials for mediations and court appearances
- Monitor case deadlines and maintain shared case calendars using case management software
- Support attorneys with administrative and procedural tasks as needed to advance the efficient resolution of cases
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in personal injury law
- Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program, or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and demand packages
- Working knowledge of Georgia civil procedure and court filing requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload without sacrificing accuracy
- Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred
- Experience with case management software
- Prior experience coordinating directly with medical providers and insurance adjusters
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
COMPENSATION
$50,000 – $72,000 annually, commensurate with experience
